1996 Saturn S Series Wagon

The Saturn S-Series wagons hadn't changed that much since the 1993 models. Still
available in two trims, the SW1 and SW2, this 4-door front wheel drive wagon comes
in a wheelbase of 102 inches, exterior length of 176.8 inches, exterior width
of 66.7 inches, exterior height of 54.5 inches and a maximum trailer weight of
1,000 lbs.
It carried powertrain features such as a 1.9 Liters I-4 engine (SOHC SPI 8 valve
for the SW1 and a DOHC MPI 16 valve for the SW2) with electronic ignition. It
uses unleaded fuel type, a 5-speed manual transmission with overdrive and has
4.06-axle ratio. This 1996 S-Series wagon also features steering and suspension
such as hydraulic power-assist steering, front disc/rear drum brakes, front anti-roll
bar and it has full wheel covers just like the other model year. It also features
a driver front-impact side airbag for safety. Seating and interior features includes
bucket front seats, manual reclining, 50-50 folding rear, cloth faced front seats
with cloth side and back and cloth door trim insert. Its exterior featured a black
bodyside molding, rocker panel extensions and dual manual outside mirrors.
